Think of it like a retirement plan – you don't wait until you're in your 60s to start saving, right? The same goes for your prostate health. Men in their 30s and 40s should already be having conversations with their healthcare providers about baseline PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen) tests and prostate health in general, especially those with a family history of prostate cancer or other risk factors.


A simple PSA blood test and a digital rectal exam (DRE) can detect potential problems early—when they’re most treatable.


What Can You Do Right Now?

Get Checked Regularly – Don’t wait for symptoms. Early detection saves lives.

Eat for Prostate Health – Foods rich in antioxidants (like tomatoes, green tea, and nuts) can help.

Stay Active – Exercise reduces inflammation and supports overall well-being.

Listen to Your Body – Difficulty urinating? Frequent nighttime trips to the bathroom? Pain? These are warning signs.

Taking care of your prostate isn’t just about avoiding discomfort - it’s about protecting your long-term health. The conversation around prostate health needs to change - from something men avoid to something we openly discuss.
